This auction is for one of the original – CLOTH CHILDREN (klothkinder) Klothkinder Kits were founded in the early 80’s by Mrs Hayes. I took over the kits from Mrs Hayes and now only have a very limited number left. This kit is Hans which is one of the dolls featured in the Dolls’ Dressmaker book by Venus A. Dodge, a selection of clothes patterns were designed by her to fit the dolls. The other Klothkinder dolls featured were Helga (Han s twin) and Anna a baby doll kit. Each kit comprises of :- A full head covered in top quality fabric from Germany and features hand painted, each head has a beautiful wig attached. You will also received enough fabric to make the body, a body pattern (simple and easy to make) with instructions, Cloth Children label, Basic clothes patterns and instructions to make them up. This particular kit is for the head in the photograph (blonde short wig in the Venus A. Dodge book) As these heads are no longer produced the kits are now in very short supply. Hans doll kit has a short wig and blue eyes when the kit is made up he will be around 45cm (18” tall) Please see my other listings for more kits available.
